Private Sauna or Drop-In — Preheated on Arrival

How Booking Works

At Syd Sauna, you can choose between two types of booking:

• Private Sauna - Book the entire sauna exclusively for yourself and your group, with space for up to 12 people.
• Shared Sauna (Drop-In) - Share the sauna with others, with space for up to 10 people. A relaxed and social experience where you may meet new people.

A standard sauna session lasts 1.5 hours, except for Early Bird sessions between 06:30 and 08:00, which last 45 minutes.

Membership — Preferential Rates

Membership is available for NOK 400 per half-year.
The membership is personal and linked to your own bookings.

As a member, you receive:

• Drop-in sessions from NOK 130
• Discounted rates on private sauna bookings

Sauna Heating

When you book, the sauna is automatically scheduled to heat up.
If you book close to the session start time, we recommend checking the temperature displayed at the top of the page.

From a cold start, the sauna typically requires approximately 45 minutes to reach operating temperature — less if the sauna is already in use.

Finding the Sauna

Syd Sauna is located on Hunsøya in Vennesla, right by the river, on the opposite side of A3 Ressurs and Hunsfos Functional Fitness.

We Make Sure the Sauna Is Warm When You Arrive

Before your visit, you will receive an email with the access code for the entrance door.

Please Remember to Bring

• Two towels (one to sit on)
• Swimwear
• Water bottle

Practical Information

• There is no toilet or shower inside the sauna building.

Before You Leave

• Please take your trash and returnables with you
• Refill the water bucket
• Ensure to fully close the inner door to the sauna
• Make sure to exit before the next booking begins
• Lock the door by closing the padlock
